Joshua Caplan for the Gateway Pundit reports, survivor Kyle Kashuv told Fox News Sunday that he believes Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel “absolutely needs to resign,” amid reports the deputy assigned to the School, failed to act during the event.

The family who took in Nikolas Cruz, the Florida school shooting suspect, after his mother died last year has spoken out for the first time about how they had no idea about the violence the teen was planning.
Kimberly and James Snead said they set strict house rules for Cruz, 19, when they agreed to bring their son’s friend into their home – including a locked cabinet for the teen’s guns. They didn’t know he had a key to it, they said in an exclusive interview with the Sun-Sentinel.
Kimberly Snead, 49, is a neonatal nurse and James Snead, 48, is described as a decorated Army veteran and military intelligence analyst.
“Everything everybody seems to know, we didn’t know,” James Snead said in the interview. “It’s as simple as that.”
Cruz is accused of killing 17 teachers and students last Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
In the interview, James Snead said he thought he was the only one with a key to Cruz’s gun cabinet, but now knows the teen must have kept a key for himself, the Associated Press said.
The couple had told Cruz he needed permission to use his guns.
The offending videos, “The Truth About Crisis Actors In The Florida Shooting,” and “What Is To Blame For The Florida High School Shooting” have been removed from YouTube, but can be seen here on the Infowars website.
While a second strike restricts a channel from posting new content for two weeks, a third strike can result in a ban from the platform.
“This is the second strike applied to your account within three months,” the notice reads. “As a result, you’re unable to post new content to YouTube for two weeks. If there are no further issues, the ability to upload will be automatically restored after this two week period.”
Infowars has referred to the YouTube strikes as a “CNN lobbying campaign,” after CNN reported that they had “identified three similar YouTube videos from InfoWars” which they flagged to YouTube. A YouTube spokesperson responded at the time that those videos were under review.
The Alex Jones Channel, which has over 2.2 million subscribers, first came under fire over a video suggesting that a survivor of the Parkland school shooting, David Hogg, was coached and given lines for interviews with various media outlets following the Valentines Day massacre which left 17 dead.
During a Friday evening appearance on CNN, Diane Wolk-Rogers said President Donald Trump’s suggestion that teachers should be armed “horrifies” her. She then wanted to address “the white elephant in the room”—racial injustice.
“If what you’re telling me is that we have trained professionals who weren’t able to follow protocol, then I can’t imagine my teachers—overworked, underpaid, exhausted— carrying a sidearm, and then being able to perform that protocol,” she said. “And I also, I want to talk about the white elephant in the room. Because what we know is that students of color get suspended and get expelled at a higher rate than white kids. So, now, what are we going to say, Mr. Trump? We’re going to say that now students of color are going to be shot at by teachers at a higher rate? It’s absolutely ludicrous. It horrifies me.”
Wolk-Rogers made her comments after some left-wing pundits and Never Trumpers immediately brought up race when discussing Trump’s proposal to arm teachers. An editor at the “Above the Law” blog, in a widely-shared article on the left, argued last week that America is too racist to arm teachers, and instructors should not be armed because cops “murder civilians all the time,” and many of the “innocent” victims have been people of color.
“America is entirely too racist to arm teachers. Our legal system is INCAPABLE of holding public employees to account for murdering minorities,” the article argued. “Black and brown students should not have to die because disgruntled white boys are shooting up their schools.”
Never Trumper David Frum has said that arming teachers “would constitute a huge public-sector affirmative action program for white men.”
