Hurricane Maria path map

HURRICANE Maria is just miles from smashing into the US Virgin Islands en route to Puerto Rico with winds of up to 175mph (280kmph), according to the NOAA National Hurricane Center (NHC).

The NHC warned that the “eye of potentially catastrophic category 5 Hurricane Maria [is] nearing St Croix”, as the storm is just 30miles south-southeast of the US Virgin Islands.

The 11pm EDT update from the NHC added Hurricane Maria is around 120miles from San Juan, Puerto Rico, where it is expected to smash into on Wednesday morning.

Forcaster have said several tornadoes are possible over Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands tonight and on Wednesday.

Earlier the NHC said “preparations against life-threatening” Hurricane Maria should be “rushed to completion”.

The 11pm EDT public advisory said a Hurricane Warning remains in effect for the US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Culebra, Vieques and from Cabo Engano to Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic.

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Saba, St Eustatius, St Maarten, Guadeloupe and parts of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Major earthquake hits central Mexico – Mexico City TODAY

EARTHQUAKE 33333333333333

MEXICO CITY — A powerful earthquake jolted central Mexico on Tuesday, cracking building facades and scattering rubble on streets in the capital on the anniversary of a devastating 1985 quake.

At least 55 people are dead following the earthquake as buildings collapsed in plumes of dust and thousands fled into the streets.

Morelos Gov. Graco Ramirez said 42 died in his central Mexican state, with 12 dead in Jojutla and four in the state capital of Cuernavaca.

Gov. Alfredo del Mazo told the Televisa news network that two people died in the State of Mexico, which also borders the capital. He said a quarry worker was killed when the quake unleashed a rockslide and another person was killed by a falling lamppost.

At least 11 others died in Puebla, according to Francisco Sanchez, spokesman for the state’s Interior Department.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a magnitude of 7.1 and was centered near the Puebla state town of Raboso, about 76 miles southeast of Mexico City.

The quake caused buildings to sway sickeningly in Mexico City and sent panicked office workers streaming into the streets, but the full extent of the damage was not yet clear.

Puebla Gov. Tony Galil tweeted that there had been damaged buildings in the city of Cholula including collapsed church steeples.

In Mexico City, thousands of people fled office buildings and hugged to calm each other along the central Reforma Avenue as alarms blared, and traffic stopped around the Angel of Independence monument.

Mayor Miguel Angel Mancera said there are reports of people trapped in collapsed buildings, though the number is not clear. He told the Televisa network that 20 or more buildings collapsed or suffered serious damage.

Clinton’s New ‘Dark Money’ Political Group Exposes Democrats’ Secret Plans for Future [VIDEO]

The political organization ‘Onward Together’ founded by Hillary Clinton, has no work to show for its first four months of existence, except soliciting donations for undisclosed purposes.
DCNF cites a recent email from Hillary to Onward Together explaining the lack of actions from the group .“You may not have heard much about the work we’re doing at Onward Together,” Clinton wrote. “That’s because we’re working behind the scene to fund, support, and amplify the work of the groups we’re supporting. We’re not the story: they are.” This attempt by Clinton to maintain influence without being ‘the story’, will allow the Democrats to publicly distance themselves from Clinton while still taking orders and funding from Hillary and cronies behind the scenes. It also gives her organization more flexibility, and less accountability for potentially nefarious actions as she can prod the smaller organizations, funded through her donors, into doing Clinton’s ‘dirty work’ while technically distancing her organization from the questionable activities they support.
