DEA set to ban Kratom plant as ‘imminent threat’ to society [VIDEO]

The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) is on the verge of banning Kratom, a leafy plant native to Southeast Asia that many use to treat chronic pain and opiate addictions. The DEA believes Kratom is an “imminent threat” and wants to make it a schedule one drug. To discuss, director of communications for the Drug Policy Alliance, Jag Davies, joins RT America’s Anya Parampil and says a ban on Kratom “will make the crisis of opiate overdose deaths even worse.”
