A couple of days ago I went on safari in deep Suburbiana, Florida looking for the elusive “Mus”.

On my first night, as I lay in my dwelling, I saw a giant dark figure scurry by in the jungle night.

“Aha! The hunt is on!”, I thought.

I dug a deep trench and set my trap for this dangerous Rodentia. I added a sacrificial slab of Chedar.

Shortly, the alarms I had set went off. I heard the strugle of the Mus and screeching sounds as it lay in my trap on it’s last throes.

I packed my camp at sunrise and brought the prized catch to my Taxidermist so I may hang it on my wall for all to view my prowess.

State of Palestine: Families find refuge in Gaza’s graveyards [VIDEO]

Published on Nov 30, 2014

A number of families in the Gaza Strip have resorted to building makeshift shelters in graveyards because they have limited sources of income and cannot afford to buy or rent property or their houses were destroyed in the summer due to Israel’s bombardment of the strip.

As the conflict between Israel and the State of Palestine continues more families are suffering from the economic impact that the blockade of the Gaza Strip has had on the community. As a result many have little choice but to find new ways of providing for their families.

The homes are generally comprised of a small single room built between gravestones. A tarpaulin acts as a roof providing some shelter from the elements.

There’s a strong feeling of resentment looming over the Scottish capital, after Westminster outlined just how much power it’s prepared to give Scotland. Edinburgh says it’s far short of the last minute pledges made to voters during September’s referendum to urge them to reject independence

USA: If you don’t think the US is facing a new civil rights movement, watch this [VIDEO]

Hundreds of protesters marched the streets of Georgetown in Washington, DC against the issues surrounding the grand jury verdict not to indict Darren Wilson for the killing of unarmed black teenager Mike Brown, Saturday.

The marchers walked the streets of Georgetown’s shopping district, in the streets and on the sidewalk. Following the march, a contingent of protesters rallied in the Metro (subway) before continuing to Virginia’s Pentagon City shopping mall. There they shut down businesses and staged a die in saying, saying: “Until we get justice, there is no profit.” Protesters laid on the ground for four and half minutes, one minute for every hour that Mike Brown was left on the pavement after dying from Darren Wilson’s gunshots. As it got late, the rally returned to DC to march through Chinatown and block the flow of traffic once again.

A protester burned the American flag in front of the Ferguson Police Department on Saturday evening at around 2100 local time (0300 GMT).

Around 200 protesters had gathered across the road from the police department to protest a grand jury ruling on Monday to not indict white police officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of unarmed African American teenager Michael Brown. There were brief scuffles between protesters and police, resulting in the arrest of one protester for unlawful assembly.

Racial tensions have remained high in Ferguson following the August 9 fatal shooting of Brown, and hundreds of people have been arrested in protests since the grand jury announced its decision. Brown was shot six times with two shots to his head, according to an autopsy. Eye-witness accounts say his hands were raised as he was killed.
