A federal judge is temporarily halting the force-feeding of Guantanamo Bay detainee Mohammed Abu Wa’el Dhiab. The practice of military force-feeding has been condemned by human rights activists and the UN as “torture.” Last week it was revealed that videos exist of detainees undergoing what the military calls enteral feeding. A hearing Wednesday will determine if any videos of Dhiab exist and when they will be released to his legal team. RT’s Lindsay France has more details on the judge’s order and the controversial practice.
